.THE PLASTIC WE USE

The plastic is the vital component of the chute. We use a high grade polyethylene that is extremely resistant to abrasion and chemicals. As a cold weather material its strength is unsurpassed - Just ask our Alaskan clients! In fact the plastic is unaffected by sub-zero temperatures as low as -156 ºF (or -100 ºC). And extreme heat conditions are no sweat at all. As for sunlight, the plastic is UV treated to resist degradation. This top quality is manufactured to ISO 9002 quality specifications.

We use 3 plastic thickness' in the construction of Wraparound® and Welded regular sections:

3.2 mm 1/8" 30" Dia. Roof-Lite Regular Sections
4 mm 5/32" 30" Dia. Standard Duty Regular Sections
5 mm 3/16" 18, 23, 27, 30, 33, 36" Dia. Heavy Duty Sections

Top hopper and door sections are always made as Heavy Duty sections.

PLASTIC COLOR:
Any color you like, as long as it is yellow! Our brilliant yellow plastic is a visible, safety-minded color and does a great job of showing off your company name plate.
