The Superchute® Bolt Down
Frame is mounted to a concrete floor slab with 2
Hilti expansion bolts (Supplied). No
counterbalance weights are needed. The frame supports 250
lb of weight. This translates into approximately 6 chute
sections (or 20 feet of chute). |
The frame is designed for use on new buildings
under construction. As the building grows in height, additional
frames supporting 20 feet of new chute are installed every couple
of floors. The new chute is then mated to the chute in use below.
The frame serves only as an anchor, not as a lifting device
(there is no fish pole ). Position the 250 lb lengths of chute
with a materials hoist or crane.
As with all our hoists, the assembly is quick
(10 minutes). Only 6 identical locking pins are needed to build
the frame. A 3:1 safety factor is built into the design. When not
in use the entire frame is folded and stored as two very compact,
identical packets. There are no loose pieces whatsoever. The
frame features storage tubes for 2 heavy duty anchor bolts.
