TIE-BACK KITS FOR HOISTS

QUICK, SAFE & EASY TIE-BACKS
The kit incorporates a lever-
actioned Cable Grabber
Superchute® Hoisters and Hoister Lites must be tied back to anchors. Built-in Tie-Back Loops are provided for this purpose. Use these loops to secure the hoist to an anchorage. Tie-backs will prevent the hoist from being pulled over the edge, should the chute become blocked, or the hoist be rammed by a vehicle (ex: a skidsteer).
The Superchute® Tie-Back Kit is quickly installed without any tools. A single properly installed kit can withstand up to 5000 lb. of pull. The 2 weight beams of a hoist each require their own kit. The kit is only to be used for securing Superchute® hoists. Use "Tie-Back Kit" with "Chain Kit" or "Concrete Anchor Kit" (below).
 
Kit Consists of:
• 100 ft. of 5/16" Galvanized Cable
• Forged hook with locking gate
• Lever-action Cable Grabber
 
1. Kit attaches easily to weight beams of any Superchute® Chute Hoister or Hoister Lite.
2. When the Grabber's lever is raised, the cable can run freely through it.
3. Drop the lever and the cable locks in place.
4. In this way, workers can obtain snug tie-backs instantly.

A structural engineer must verify the adequacy of the anchorage that secures the Tie-Back Kit.

 

CONCRETE ANCHOR KITS - FOR TIE BACKS
Tie back to Superchute® heavy duty anchors. Anchors are bolted to concrete floor slabs using Hilti expansion bolts, and offer up to 5000 lb. of support when properly installed. Our concrete anchors are ideally suited for securing the above mentioned Tie-Back Kit. The kit is only to be used for securing Superchute® Hoists & Chutes. Anchors feature galvanized steel construction. A structural engineer must verify the adequacy of the chosen concrete slab.
Use only with Hilti Bolt model HSL M12/25 (Available from Superchute Ltd).

 

CHAIN KITS - FOR TIE BACKS
Where a concrete slab is not available, Chain Kits can be purchased from Superchute Ltd. for anchoring Tie-Back Kits to structurally adequate members of the building. Chain Kits are built using high carbon chain and are equipped with matching fittings.

A structural engineer must verify the adequacy of the chosen anchor point.
